**Solapur, Maharashtra:** Stand-up comedian Pranit More was allegedly assaulted by a group of men claiming to be fans of Bollywood debutante Veer Pahariya following a performance at Solapur’s 24K Kraft Brewzz on Sunday evening. More’s team reported that 11-12 men brutally attacked him, punching and kicking him, leaving him injured. The alleged leader of the group, identified as Tanveer Shaikh, reportedly admitted the attack was in retaliation for jokes More made about Pahariya. One attacker even threatened further violence if More continued to joke about the actor.
More’s team criticized the venue for lacking security and for refusing access to CCTV footage. They also alleged a lack of police response.
Veer Pahariya, who recently debuted in *Sky Force*, expressed shock and deep sadness over the incident, publicly apologizing to More and condemning the violence. He stated his lack of involvement and vowed to assist in holding the perpetrators accountable.
24K Kraft Brewzz issued a statement clarifying that they were not responsible for security arrangements, as the event was organized by an external team. However, they asserted their swift action in rescuing More and their commitment to cooperating with authorities to ensure future safety. The venue stated they do not condone violence and believe legal channels should be used to address such matters. The incident is under investigation.
