**Marthandam, February 5, 2025** – Marthandam police apprehended two men on Wednesday for allegedly selling gutka, a banned substance. During a routine patrol near the Marthandam Bus Stand, officers intercepted C. Jegan, 45, from Kollanvilai, and A. Selvaraj, 48, from Palliyadi. Police seized 8.2 kg of gutka from the suspects and registered a case at the Marthandam police station. Investigations are ongoing.
