Wed Feb 05 11:30:00 IST 2025: ## Trifecta of Storms to Slam New England Next Week
**Boston, MA** – New England is bracing for a busy week of winter weather, with three separate storms expected to impact the region through the middle of next week. While there will be breaks between the systems, forecasters warn of significant snowfall, particularly in northern New England.
The first two storms, originating on the West Coast, will follow similar tracks across the region, bringing a trifecta of precipitation: snow, followed by a wintry mix, and finally rain. Snow accumulations are predicted to range from less than two inches on the South Shore to as much as four inches further north before transitioning to other precipitation types. Some icy conditions are possible in central Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire during the changeover. The speed of these systems should limit overall accumulations.
A period of semi-chilly temperatures will follow before another storm, nearly identical to the previous two, arrives on Sunday. The third storm, forecast for next Wednesday, may take a slightly more southerly path, potentially increasing overall snowfall amounts. Forecasters are closely monitoring its projected path. NBC10 Boston will continue to provide updates on the evolving situation.
