**Belagavi, Karnataka – February 5, 2025** – Karnataka Minister K.H. Muniyappa firmly dismissed speculation regarding a change in Chief Ministership, stating on Wednesday that there are “no plans or proposals” to replace Siddaramaiah. Muniyappa lauded Siddaramaiah’s leadership, highlighting the successful implementation of the five guarantees and expressing confidence in his ability to deliver a strong budget and complete his full term. While acknowledging that leadership changes are ultimately decided by the party high command, he asserted that no such issues currently exist. He also refuted having any knowledge of legislators planning a trip to New Delhi to meet with the party leadership. Muniyappa’s comments came during the inauguration of a new Consumer Court building in Belagavi. He also announced the release of funds to install automated weighing scales in all sugar factories to prevent sugarcane under-weighing, a project to be overseen by Agriculture Produce Marketing Cooperative societies.
