**Hyderabad, February 5, 2025** – Fifty astronomy enthusiasts enjoyed a unique experience on Monday, February 3rd, participating in a “Stargazing Camp” at the Forest Trek Park in Manchirevula, Chilkur Reserve Forest. The event, organized by the Telangana Forest Development Corporation’s eco-tourism wing in collaboration with the Hyderabad Adventure & Trekkers Club, offered participants a chance to view celestial objects through three high-powered telescopes.
The telescopes provided – a Seastar Smart Telescope, an eight-inch Dobsonian Telescope, and a 130 Celestron Astromaster – allowed for rare glimpses of planets and other celestial bodies. The event was deemed a success, highlighting the growing interest in astronomy and the potential for eco-tourism initiatives to combine nature and scientific appreciation.
