**Kolkata, February 5, 2025** – A police guard was found dead with a gunshot wound to the forehead this morning at the City Civil Court in Kolkata’s Dalhousie area. The deceased, identified as Gopal Nath (30s), was discovered around 7 a.m. on a chair near a ground floor staircase. His service pistol was found beside him.
Police are investigating all possibilities, including suicide and murder.
