**Prayagraj, India** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela on Wednesday for a brief, hour-long visit, culminating in a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.

The Prime Minister’s visit, scheduled for 10:05 AM to 12:30 PM, will see him travel by helicopter to Arail Ghat, from where he will take a boat to the Kumbh Mela site. He will perform a ritual bath during the auspicious Ashtami Tithi of the Magh month and offer prayers. Following the ceremony, he will return to Prayagraj Airport via Arail Ghat, departing at 12:30 PM on an Indian Air Force aircraft.

This marks PM Modi’s second visit to Prayagraj in a short time. His previous visit on December 13th saw the inauguration of 167 development projects worth ₹5,500 crore.

Local residents and devotees are expressing immense excitement over the Prime Minister’s participation in the Kumbh Mela. Many believe PM Modi’s reverence for Sanatan Dharma has brought renewed prominence to the faith, increasing awareness and understanding.
