Wed Feb 05 13:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Black Sabbath to Reunite for One Last Show in Birmingham

**BIRMINGHAM, UK –** Heavy metal legends Black Sabbath will reunite for a final, one-off concert at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5th. The show, titled “Back To The Beginning,” will mark the first time the original lineup – Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward – have performed together in 20 years.

Osbourne, who has significantly curtailed his touring due to Parkinson’s disease and spinal injuries, will perform a short solo set before joining his bandmates. His wife, Sharon Osbourne, confirmed that this will be his final ever performance, stating he felt a need to properly say goodbye to fans and friends.

The concert will be a spectacular one-day festival featuring a massive lineup of bands Black Sabbath inspired, including Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira, Anthrax, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Mastodon, and a supergroup featuring musicians such as Billy Corgan, Slash, and Tom Morello.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice. Tom Morello, serving as musical director, called the event “the greatest heavy metal show ever.” The choice of Villa Park is significant, as it’s near where Black Sabbath held their first rehearsal in 1968. Tickets are expected to be in extremely high demand.
