NEW YORK, NY – The New York Times Games section today released Connections Puzzle #604, rated 3.2 out of 5 in difficulty by the NYT’s puzzle testers. The puzzle, released at midnight EST, features a four-category structure with varying difficulty levels indicated by color (green easiest, purple hardest).
Players are encouraged to share their solve grids and scores on the Connections forum, where they can also receive hints and discuss the puzzle. One player, a Wordle veteran new to the forum, reported success after two consecutive error-free solves, attributing the improvement to joining the community. The player noted specific challenges faced in solving the different colored categories.
The NYT Games team provides daily live “Connections Companions” to help players, along with access to a Connections Bot for more personalized difficulty analysis.
