**VILLUPURAM, February 5, 2025** – S. Shiek Abdul Rahman officially assumed his duties as the new District Collector of Villupuram on Wednesday. He replaces C. Palani, who has been transferred to the position of Additional Commissioner of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department.
Mr. Rahman, formerly the Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration in Chennai, stated his commitment to expediting all priority projects across various departments.
