**Belagavi, February 5, 2025** – A new Khadi outlet, featuring handwoven Khadi and silk products, was inaugurated in Bailhongal, Karnataka on Tuesday. The loom, a collaboration between the Karnataka Khadi Gramodyog Samyukta Sangha and local officials, was opened by MLC Channaraj Hattiholi.
Hattiholi encouraged the public to support the Khadi industry, emphasizing its role in strengthening the village economy and realizing Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Gram Swaraj. The event was attended by MLA Mahantesh Kaujalgi, former MLA Jagadish Metgud, and community elders.
