**New Delhi, [Date]** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 1 within the next 48 hours, possibly by February 5th. While no official announcement has been made by the NTA, candidates can expect the key to be available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam was conducted in two shifts (9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM) from January 22nd to 30th. The exam consisted of Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech admissions and Papers 2A and 2B for B.Arch and B.Planning respectively.

Candidates who wish to challenge the answer key will have to pay ₹200 per question. The process involves logging into the NTA website, identifying the challenged questions, uploading supporting evidence, and submitting the challenge. Only verified websites, books, and peer-reviewed research papers will be accepted as evidence.

Following the release of the provisional answer key, registration for JEE Main Session 2, which opened on February 1st, is expected to accelerate. Candidates can access the answer key and register for Session 2 on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The NTA has also reiterated that candidates using unfair means or appearing from unauthorized centers will have their results cancelled. No appeals will be entertained in such cases. Information regarding free coaching programs offered by various state governments to assist engineering aspirants is also available on the website.
