Wed Feb 05 07:05:32 UTC 2025: ## Hostel Superintendent Arrested for Beating 25 Minor Girls in Madhya Pradesh
**Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, February 5, 2025** – A case has been registered against the superintendent of a government-run hostel in Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly assaulting over 25 minor girls. The girls, all Class 7 students at a government school, were reportedly beaten on Sunday night.
According to Kotma police station in-charge Sundaresh Maravi, the victims’ family members filed a complaint alleging the superintendent beat the girls without provocation. The school principal also supported the complaint.
The hostel superintendent has been charged under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including those related to obscene acts, voluntarily causing hurt, and criminal intimidation, as well as provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act. While no arrests have been made yet, an investigation is underway.
