Tue Feb 04 10:01:59 UTC 2025: ## India to Face England in Three-Match ODI Series Starting February 6th

**New Delhi, India** – Following India’s dominant 4-1 T20 series victory over England, the two cricketing giants are set to clash in a three-match One Day International (ODI) series beginning February 6th. This series holds significant importance as both teams gear up for the upcoming Champions Trophy.

The first ODI will be played in Nagpur on February 6th, followed by matches in Cuttack on February 9th and Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on February 12th. All matches will begin at 1:30 PM IST, with the toss at 1:00 PM IST. Star Sports Network will televise the series, while fans can stream the matches live on Disney+ Hotstar.

India’s ODI squad will be captained by Rohit Sharma and includes key players like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Jasprit Bumrah (pending fitness). However, Bumrah will miss the first two ODIs due to his ongoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. England’s squad, led by Jos Buttler, features a strong batting lineup including Joe Root and Harry Brook.

This series comes after a relatively lean 2024 for India in ODIs, where they suffered two defeats and one tie in their three matches. The upcoming series promises to be a thrilling contest between two top cricketing nations.
