Tue Feb 04 10:18:36 IST 2025: ## Gujarat BJP MLA Karshanbhai Solanki Passes Away
**Ahmedabad, February 4, 2025** – Karshanbhai Solanki, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA representing the Kadi assembly constituency in Mehsana district, Gujarat, passed away early Tuesday morning after a battle with cancer. He was receiving treatment at an Ahmedabad hospital.
Solanki, who served as MLA since 2017, won the Scheduled Caste-reserved Kadi seat twice, in both 2017 and 2022. His last rites will be performed later today in his native village, Nagarasan.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed his condolences, remembering Solanki for his “simple and gentle nature.” State BJP president C.R. Paatil and other party leaders also offered their condolences.
