HYDERABAD: The pre-release event of the pan-India film “Thandel,” starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, was held in Hyderabad on Sunday. The film, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, is slated for release on February 7th. The event was graced by renowned director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who expressed his best wishes for the film’s success.
Vanga praised the film’s emotional depth, evident in the teaser, trailer, and songs, and lauded the performances of both lead actors. He shared an anecdote about initially considering Sai Pallavi for his film “Arjun Reddy” but was informed she wouldn’t even wear sleeveless dresses. He also revealed that he used Chaitanya’s dressing style as a reference for his films “Kabir Singh” and “Animal.”
