**KOCHI, February 2, 2025** – Actor and MLA M. Mukesh has been charged in a second sexual assault case, according to a report filed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Kochi. The chargesheet, filed approximately a week ago before a judicial first-class magistrate court, relies heavily on digital evidence. This is the second chargesheet filed against Mr. Mukesh; the first was submitted to a court in Wadakkancherry. The case stems from a complaint filed by a woman actor with the Maradu police. Mr. Mukesh denies the allegations, claiming they are a result of his resistance to blackmail attempts.
In a separate development, the SIT also filed a chargesheet against actor Maniyanpilla Raju for sexual harassment in Fort Kochi, based on a complaint from another woman.
