**NEW DELHI** – The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has announced the recruitment of 475 Executive Trainee Engineers, inviting applications from eligible candidates. The recruitment drive is open until February 13, 2025, with applications to be submitted online through the official NTPC website, http://www.ntpc.co.in.
The positions are distributed across various engineering disciplines: 135 Electrical, 180 Mechanical, 85 Electronics, 50 Civil, and 25 Mining. Selection will be based on the GATE 2024 scores. Candidates must have qualified in the GATE 2024 examination. Shortlisting for document verification will be based on GATE 2024 performance and organizational requirements.
The maximum age limit is 27 years, with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen candidates as per government guidelines. The application fee is INR 300 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PWD, and women candidates are exempted. The application process began on January 30, 2025.
