**LOUISVILLE, KY** – Hannah Hidalgo exploded for a season-high 34 points, leading No. 3 Notre Dame to an 89-71 victory over Louisville on Sunday. The win extends the Fighting Irish’s winning streak to 14 games, although the final score doesn’t fully reflect the tight contest.

Hidalgo’s scoring prowess, including a 12-point third quarter, proved crucial in overcoming a resilient Louisville team. The Cardinals, led by Tajianna Roberts’ 17 points, kept the game close until the final period. Notre Dame pulled away late, outscoring Louisville 46-30 in the paint.

Olivia Miles contributed 17 points for Notre Dame, while Liatu King added 16 points and 12 rebounds. For Louisville, Olivia Cochran scored 14 and Jayda Curry added 12, but they couldn’t overcome the Fighting Irish’s dominant inside game and Hidalgo’s hot shooting.
