**Bengaluru, February 3, 2025** – Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik led a delegation to Bengaluru on February 2nd to study the operations of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). The visit included meetings with Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy and KSRTC officials, as well as tours of KSRTC’s central office, depot, and workshop.
Discussions focused on various aspects of KSRTC’s success, including its fleet of premium vehicles (Airavat Club Class 2.0, Ambari Dream Class, Fly Bus, and Rajahamsa), employee welfare programs, revenue generation strategies, bus refurbishment initiatives, e-ticketing systems, and the KSRTC Arogya health scheme and accident insurance program.
The Maharashtra delegation reportedly praised KSRTC’s maintenance practices, branding, and overall modernization efforts. The visit highlights a potential exchange of best practices between the two state transport corporations.
