**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh:** Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his warm greetings to the people of the state and pilgrims participating in the Maha Kumbh 2025 on the occasion of Basant Panchami’s third “Amrit Snan” (holy dip). He offered prayers to Goddess Saraswati, seeking her blessings for renewed energy and well-being for all.
The Chief Minister shared several pictures on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, showcasing the large number of sadhus, saints, and devotees taking the holy dip in the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. He expressed his wishes for the fulfillment of everyone’s desires and the strengthening of their thoughts and consciousness.
Adityanath’s posts highlighted the significance of the event, emphasizing the spiritual benefits of the holy bath. He lauded the participation of numerous sadhus, saints, akharas (religious orders), and devotees in the auspicious ceremony.
Following a stampede during the Mauni Amavasya Snan, the administration has reportedly reinforced its security and crowd management preparations for the ongoing Kumbh Mela. The scale of participation on Basant Panchami is expected to be substantial. CM Yogi’s administration is implementing a comprehensive crowd control plan, dubbed “Operation 11,” to ensure a safe and orderly event.
