**Bengaluru, February 3, 2025** – Two separate incidents involving fire broke out in Bengaluru on Monday, causing damage to a house and a car.
In the first incident, a house on Kadugodi Main Road was completely destroyed by a fire that originated in a secondhand refrigerator. Three women residing in the house attempted to extinguish the flames but were forced to evacuate when the fire spread rapidly, consuming furniture within the home. Fire and Emergency Services personnel arrived on the scene and contained the blaze. While no injuries were reported, officials suspect the fire was caused by overheating in the refrigerator, although a full investigation is underway.
Later that evening, a car parked near Lalbagh metro station caught fire. The flames also damaged a nearby motorcycle. Details surrounding the cause of this fire are yet to be released.
