Mon Feb 03 16:58:22 UTC 2025: ## Shahid Kapoor’s “Deva” Stumbles at the Box Office, Day 4 Collections Lowest Yet

**Mumbai, February 6** – Shahid Kapoor’s action-thriller “Deva” continues to struggle at the box office, with Monday’s collections marking its lowest earning day yet. The film, which opened on Friday, January 31st, has reportedly earned a disappointing ₹1.31 crore on its fourth day, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

This figure represents a significant drop from the weekend’s performance. While Sunday saw a slight recovery with ₹7.25 crore, the film’s initial opening day gross of ₹5.5 crore and Saturday’s ₹6.4 crore were not sustained. Early estimates suggest a four-day total of approximately ₹20.46 crore.

The poor box office performance is reflected in low theatre occupancy, with only 5.20% and 8.35% occupancy reported for the morning and afternoon shows on Monday, respectively. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh previously noted a lack of substantial growth on the film’s second day, highlighting the need for a significant jump in viewership that ultimately failed to materialize.

“Deva,” a cop drama showcasing Shahid Kapoor as a rebellious police officer alongside Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati, follows a brilliant officer investigating a high-profile case fraught with deceit and betrayal. Despite the star cast and intriguing premise, the film has failed to resonate with audiences as hoped.
