Mon Feb 03 00:41:52 IST 2025: ## Andhra CM Campaigns for BJP in Delhi, Slams Kejriwal’s Rule
**New Delhi, February 3, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu launched a scathing attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during a BJP election campaign in Shahdara on Sunday. Naidu urged Delhi voters to choose the BJP for the city’s development, alleging that Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had mismanaged the capital, leading to environmental degradation, poor living conditions, and a lack of job opportunities.
Comparing Delhi’s current state to the “old, dilapidated Hyderabad” of the 1990s, Naidu contrasted it with the progress made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He argued that Delhi’s potential was being squandered by the AAP’s focus on “personal aggrandisement,” mirroring what he claimed was happening in Andhra Pradesh under Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP.
Naidu highlighted the irony of people seeking employment in South India rather than Delhi, despite the AAP’s promises. He emphasized the need for a “double engine government,” echoing the BJP’s national and state-level campaign strategy, and predicted a BJP victory in the upcoming Delhi elections. The campaign event was attended by several Union Ministers and BJP leaders.
