**DENVER, CO –** Award-winning comedian and actress Amy Schumer will headline the opening night of SeriesFest, Denver’s annual television festival, on April 29th. Schumer will perform a stand-up set at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, kicking off the festival’s 11th year.
The announcement was made by SeriesFest CEO and co-founder Randi Kleiner, who praised Schumer’s “range of talent” as a writer, director, producer, and star. The festival, which runs from April 29th to May 4th, has seen increasing prominence in recent years, with past appearances from casts of major shows like *Grey’s Anatomy*.
Schumer’s performance comes on the heels of the release of her Netflix film *Kinda Pregnant*, which she also wrote, and her Golden Globe-nominated Netflix stand-up special, *Amy Schumer: Emergency Contact*. *Kinda Pregnant*, debuting February 5th, stars Schumer alongside Will Forte and Jillian Bell.
