Mon Feb 03 06:00:00 IST 2025: ## Adam Levine’s Return to ‘The Voice’: A Nostalgic Homecoming

**Los Angeles, CA** – Adam Levine is back! The Maroon 5 frontman announced his return to *The Voice* after a six-year hiatus, taking a seat on the season 27 coaching panel alongside John Legend, Michael Bublé, and Kelsea Ballerini.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Levine revealed his reasons for returning to the hit singing competition. While he initially left the show in 2019 after 16 seasons to spend time with his family, he admitted to developing a nostalgic fondness for the experience. “I just felt like it was time,” Levine stated. “I had some time to reflect and do my thing and be with my family. I was ready to do it, then the stars aligned and here I am.”

Despite not missing the show during his absence, Levine expressed excitement about rejoining the coaching team. “I feel like no time has passed, but then it also feels so different in an amazing way,” he shared. “I’m just super happy and pumped. I love these guys so much.”

Levine’s return marks a full-circle moment for the singer, who previously described his decade-long tenure on the show as a “life-shaping experience.” He made a brief cameo during the season 23 finale in 2023, performing Maroon 5’s “Middle Ground.”

*The Voice* season 27 premieres Monday, February 3rd on NBC.
