**Mumbai:** India secured a resounding 248-run victory over England in the final T20I at the Wankhede Stadium, but the match was overshadowed by an injury to wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson.
Samson, who blasted 16 runs off the very first over bowled by Jofra Archer – including two sixes – suffered a finger injury during the innings. The injury occurred when Archer’s third delivery struck Samson’s glove. Despite receiving treatment and applying a bandage, Samson was dismissed soon after for a short-leg catch off Mark Wood. He did not return to the field, with Dhruv Jurel replacing him behind the stumps.
