**Kozhikode, Kerala:** Nishad Ameen, a seasoned journalist with 16 years of experience, has joined Samayam Malayalam, the Malayalam language arm of the Times of India group, as a content producer. Ameen holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Calicut University, a PG Diploma in Television Journalism from Calicut Press Club, and a postgraduate degree in English Literature. His extensive career includes seven years as a journalist in Saudi Arabia, where he also served as General Secretary of the Indian Media Forum. He has held senior positions at various publications including Suprabhatam, Malayala News, and Tejas, working as a senior sub-editor, Gulf News editor, and senior reporter across bureaus in Kerala, the Gulf, and internationally in New Delhi, Riyadh, Jeddah, and the UAE.
