**Hyderabad, February 3, 2025** – The pre-release event of the Telugu film “Thanded” was held in Hyderabad on Sunday, generating significant buzz. The film, based on true events from 2018, features Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. The event was attended by the film’s cast and crew, as well as prominent figures from the Telugu film industry.
Naga Chaitanya expressed his gratitude to the team and shared his experience preparing for the role, stating he immersed himself in the lives of the Sri Kakulam fishermen whose story the film portrays. He highlighted the resilience and courage of these fishermen, who, after facing imprisonment in Pakistan, returned to their fishing lives despite the inherent risks.
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, a guest at the event, praised the film’s emotional connection and the realistic portrayal of the characters by Chaitanya and Pallavi. He also shared an anecdote about initially approaching Sai Pallavi for a role, highlighting her consistent commitment to her personal style choices.
