**Mumbai, India:** India concluded their five-match T20I series against England with a resounding 150-run victory in the final match on Sunday. This dominant win secured a 4-1 series triumph for the hosts.

The match was effectively decided in the first innings, where India posted a mammoth 247/9 in their 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma stole the show with a breathtaking century (135 runs off 54 balls, including 7 fours and 13 sixes), laying the foundation for India’s massive total. While Tilak Varma (24) and Shivam Dube (30) provided some support, it was undoubtedly the Abhishek Sharma show. For England, Brydon Carse took three wickets, while Mark Wood claimed two.

England’s chase never got off the ground. Faced with a daunting target of 248, they crumbled under the pressure, managing only 97 runs in 10.3 overs. Phil Salt’s 55 was the only notable contribution, with the rest of the batting line-up failing to cope with the demanding run rate. Mohammed Shami led the Indian bowling attack with three wickets, while Varun Chakravarthy, Shivam Dube, and Abhishek Sharma each took two. Ravi Bishnoi claimed the remaining wicket.

The match also marked the return of Mohammed Shami to the Indian XI, replacing Arshdeep Singh, and Shivam Dube’s comeback after recovering from injury. Mark Wood returned to the English side after a period out.

The final T20Is saw both teams fielding their strongest lineups. The comprehensive victory cemented India’s dominance in the series, providing a fitting end to a thrilling contest.
