**Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, February 1, 2025** – Ten devotees returning from the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh were injured when their pick-up van overturned in the Safdarganj area of Barabanki district on Friday evening, police reported. Four sustained serious injuries and were transported to the district hospital, while the remaining six received treatment at a government hospital in Sirauli Gauspur. The accident occurred near Maulabad village when the vehicle reportedly lost control. This incident follows a separate, more serious stampede at the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, resulting in 30 deaths and 60 injuries, prompting the order of a judicial probe.
