Sat Feb 01 02:01:44 IST 2025: ## Priyanka Gandhi Accuses Modi and Kejriwal of Avoiding Key Issues in Delhi Election Campaign

**New Delhi, February 1, 2025** – In her first public appearance before the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly avoiding crucial issues like employment, inflation, and pollution.

Addressing thousands of supporters at a roadshow and public address, Ms. Gandhi accused Mr. Modi of blaming former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru for current problems and Mr. Kejriwal of blaming Mr. Modi. She stated that both leaders were deflecting responsibility for their perceived failures to address the needs of Delhi’s residents.

Ms. Gandhi highlighted the economic struggles faced by many Delhi households, noting that despite multiple earners in many families, they still struggle financially. She contrasted this with the BJP and AAP leaders’ focus on historical figures and grand projects, arguing that they ignore the pressing issues of daily life.

She also targeted Mr. Modi’s recent reduction in LPG cylinder prices, questioning why this wasn’t implemented earlier and suggesting it was a pre-election tactic. Ms. Gandhi further championed the Congress party’s past achievements in Delhi under Sheila Dikshit, emphasizing infrastructural developments like flyovers, the Delhi Metro, and CNG buses. She promised that a Congress government would implement similar economically beneficial schemes for Delhi residents.
