**Bangalore, India** – Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are aiming high for IPL 2025, significantly upgrading their pace bowling arsenal in a bid to finally claim the coveted IPL title. The franchise, known for its strong batting lineup, has made strategic acquisitions at the mega auction, assembling a formidable bowling unit.
Leading the charge is veteran Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, acquired for a hefty Rs 10.75 crore. Kumar’s expertise in swing bowling and death bowling will be crucial. He’ll be supported by the retained Yash Dayal (Rs 5 crore), a left-arm pacer known for his ability to perform under pressure.
Adding international firepower are South African speedster Lungi Ngidi (Rs 1 crore) and the returning Australian Josh Hazlewood (Rs 12.50 crore). Ngidi’s ability to extract bounce, and Hazlewood’s disciplined line and length, further solidify RCB’s pace attack.
