Sat Feb 01 04:01:35 IST 2025: ## Two Infiltrators Killed in Poonch Sector Gunfight
**Srinagar, February 1, 2025** – Two infiltrators were killed in a gunfight with Indian Army personnel in the Poonch sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday, January 31, 2025. The encounter followed the detection of terrorist movement near the LoC the previous night. An intense firefight ensued, resulting in the neutralization of the two infiltrators. The Army recovered a number of weapons and war-like stores from the area. Operations in the region are ongoing. A post-mortem was conducted by a team of doctors, police, and a magistrate. Separately, a resident of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), apprehended a week prior, was repatriated on Friday.
