Fri Jan 31 18:58:32 UTC 2025: ## India Stumbles in Pune T20 Against England

**Pune, India:** India struggled to 181/9 in their fourth T20I against England in Pune today. Winning the toss and electing to bowl first, England restricted India to a below-par total despite a late flourish from Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey.

India’s innings got off to a shaky start, losing wickets early. Openers Abhishek Sharma (29) and Rinku Singh (30) offered some resistance before falling, leaving India reeling at 79/5.

However, a crucial partnership between Pandya (53 off 30 balls, including 4 fours and 4 sixes) and Dubey (53 off 34 balls, including 7 fours and 2 sixes) revived the Indian innings. Pandya’s powerful hitting and Dubey’s supporting role propelled India towards a more respectable total. However, the late-innings fightback wasn’t enough to compensate for the earlier collapse.

England’s bowling attack was led by Shakib Mahmood (3 wickets), with contributions from Brydon Carse (1), Jofra Archer (2), and Adil Rashid (1).

England now requires 182 runs in 20 overs to win the match.
