**Bengaluru, India (January 31, 2025)** – Tekion, a cloud-native automotive retail platform provider, and Praana Animal Foundation have partnered to open Bengaluru’s first dedicated cat rehabilitation and adoption center. Located off Kanakapura Road, the facility will provide comprehensive care for feral, injured, rescued, and abandoned cats, including post-operative care and rehabilitation services.
The center, a collaboration marking the third joint initiative between Tekion and Praana in the past year, is equipped with specialized facilities and features cat-themed murals created by local art students. Adoption drives will be held regularly to find homes for the rehabilitated cats.
“This centre is a dream come true,” said Samyukta Hornad, actor and founder of Praana Animal Foundation. “It fills a crucial gap in providing post-care for cats before adoption.” Rana Robillard, Tekion’s Chief People Officer, added that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and aims to raise awareness about animal welfare. Praana also plans to host educational sessions for school children at the center. The partnership builds on the success of a 24/7 animal ambulance service launched in 2024.
