**CHENNAI, January 31, 2025** – Over 500 students from Chennai schools and colleges participated in a two-day cancer awareness program, “Beat Fear With Fun,” organized by the MGM Cancer Institute to mark its second anniversary and World Cancer Day 2025. The program aimed to educate students and the public about cancer, including risk factors, prevention, and early detection. A video display zone showcased information on various cancer types, symptoms, treatments, and preventative measures. M.A. Raja, senior consultant and director of Oncology Services at MGM Cancer Institute, inaugurated the event.
