**New Delhi, India –** The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release admit cards for the upcoming Constable (GD) examination in the coming days. Over 5.2 million candidates applied for the 39,481 vacancies, resulting in a highly competitive ratio of approximately 133 applicants per position.

The exam, scheduled for February 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 25, 2025, will be computer-based. According to an official SSC notice, exam city intimation slips will be available 10 days prior to the exam, and admit cards four days prior. Therefore, candidates can expect the admit cards to be released around January 31 or February 1, 2025.

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in) using their registration number and date of birth/password. The process involves logging into the regional SSC website after accessing the main site.

Successful candidates in the written exam will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). These tests are qualifying rounds; only passing is required to advance to the medical and document verification stages. The final merit list will be based solely on the written exam scores. The recruitment drive will fill Constable (GD) positions in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Rifleman (GD) positions in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy positions in the Narcotics Control Bureau.
