Fri Jan 31 08:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Varanasi to Host SSC CGL Re-Exam Amidst Tight Security
**Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India –** The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the re-examination for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 exam in Varanasi on January 31st. A total of 2064 candidates will appear for the online exam, Paper-2, which will be held across six examination centers in the city.
To ensure a smooth and secure examination, the District Magistrate has deployed one nodal officer and six static magistrates. Furthermore, Varanasi Police will deploy jammers at all examination centers throughout the duration of the exam, as per instructions from the Deputy Director of Personnel and Training Department, Mr. Pramod Gupta, SSC (Central Region). The jammers are to remain active at all times to prevent any electronic interference. The electricity department has also been coordinated with to guarantee an uninterrupted power supply.
The exam will commence at 1:00 PM and conclude at 1:33 PM, allowing candidates 33 minutes to complete the paper. Strict security measures are in place to maintain the integrity of the examination.
