**Orlando Bloom** has voiced his support for former *Pirates of the Caribbean* co-star **Keira Knightley**, who recently spoke about the negative impact the franchise had on her. In an interview with *Entertainment Weekly*, Bloom acknowledged Knightley’s conflicted feelings, stating he understands her perspective despite his own positive experience. “It was such a huge moment in time… it feels almost like another lifetime now,” he said, adding, “But I definitely understand where Keira was coming from, and she does wonderful things.”

Knightley previously revealed that while the films launched her career, they also led to significant public criticism of her performance. The immense success of the franchise, ironically, fueled her subsequent career successes, including Oscar nominations.

Meanwhile, Bloom also commented on the upcoming *Pirates of the Caribbean* reboots, currently in development with producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Beyond *Pirates*, Bloom is currently promoting his role in a Super Bowl LIX ad for MSC Cruises alongside **Drew Barrymore**. He praised Barrymore’s professionalism and kindness on set, highlighting their shared comedic chemistry in the ad, which showcases the luxury cruise line’s new flagship, MSC World America.
