**Hyderabad, January 31, 2025** – Police have identified the individual responsible for a hoax bomb threat made to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The caller, traced to Kamareddy district using call data records, remains at large.
Following the threat, received by the Cyberabad police commissionerate control room, anti-bomb squads and security personnel conducted a thorough search of the airport. While the caller’s location has been identified, RGIA Sub-Inspector D. Apparao stated that a police team dispatched to Kamareddy on Thursday was unable to apprehend the suspect. An ongoing investigation aims to locate and arrest the individual.
