**Puducherry, January 30, 2025** – Puducherry observed the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Thursday with floral tributes and the singing of bhajans and patriotic songs. Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan led the tributes, garlanding a statue of Gandhi at Gandhi Thidal on the beach. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy and other dignitaries, including ministers, MLAs, and government officials, also paid their respects. A two-minute silence was observed, followed by performances by teachers from Bharathiar Palkalaikoodam.
