**Clarkston, MI** – Country music sensation Lainey Wilson will bring her “Whirlwind World Tour” to Pine Knob Music Theatre on September 26th, marking her largest metro Detroit performance to date. The show, featuring opening acts Muscadine Bloodline and Lauren Watkins, is part of a major international tour kicking off in March.
Wilson’s Pine Knob appearance follows a highly successful headline set at last summer’s Faster Horses Festival. This will be her first-ever performance at the iconic venue.
Tickets for the September 26th show go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on February 7th via Ticketmaster. Presales begin Tuesday, February 6th, for Citi cardholders, Verizon customers, and members of Wilson’s Wild Horses fan club.
The tour announcement comes just days before the Grammy Awards, where Wilson’s album “Whirlwind” is nominated for Best Country Album. She is also scheduled to perform at the Grammy’s as part of a tribute to Quincy Jones.
