Fri Jan 31 16:20:00 IST 2025: ## KCR Issues Strong Warning to Telangana’s Revanth Reddy Government
**Siddipet, Telangana (Jan 31, 2025):** Former Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) delivered a strong warning to the Telangana government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Friday. Addressing BRS workers in Erravalli, KCR accused the Reddy government of failing to implement welfare schemes effectively, particularly the six guarantees promised to the people.
KCR stated that he is observing the government’s performance closely and hinted at strong future action, saying, “I’m watching this government silently but seriously. When I strike, it won’t be a light blow; hitting hard is my habit.” He announced a massive public meeting in Telangana at the end of February.
KCR heavily criticized the government’s handling of various projects, citing the stalled Sangameshwara, Basaveshwara, and Kaleshwaram projects as examples of administrative failure. He accused the Congress government of deliberately halting tenders for these crucial projects and vowed to launch a major protest. He also condemned the alleged deterioration of conditions in government gurukul hostels and the rising discontent among farmers due to the discontinuation of the Rythu Bandhu scheme.
The former CM further accused the Congress of using the Muslim community for votes and neglecting the welfare of all sections of society. He urged BRS workers to prepare for direct confrontation, signaling a significant escalation in the political battle between the BRS and the Congress. The meeting was attended by former minister Harish Rao and several other BRS leaders and workers from the Medak district. The statement comes amidst ongoing political tensions in Telangana and follows recent accusations and counter-accusations between the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS.
