**LARAMIE, WYOMING –** University of Wyoming athletics have seen a mix of wins and losses across multiple sports this week, alongside significant developments off the court.
The men’s basketball team, led by guard Obi “PG One” Agbim, secured a victory over the Fresno State Bulldogs, showcasing strong three-point shooting and clutch performances. However, they also suffered setbacks against San Jose State and the New Mexico Lobos, despite strong starts in the latter game. The Cowboys also faced tough competition in their Border War matchup against Colorado State, ultimately falling short despite a career-high performance from a Cowgirl player. A road win against UNLV provided a much-needed bounce-back victory after a three-game losing streak.
The women’s basketball team dominated Air Force in a wire-to-wire victory, highlighting their size advantage. However, they were unable to overcome the Colorado State Rams in their Border War clash.
Beyond the court, the University of Wyoming celebrated the grand opening of the Pokes Center for Community Resources. Additionally, the UW Blockchain Club continues to provide students with educational opportunities in this emerging field, and the Wyoming Freedom Caucus is advancing several new bills.
