Fri Jan 31 16:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Chakaravarthy’s Five-For Keeps England Alive in Thrilling T20 Victory

**Rajkot, India:** England snatched a 26-run victory over India in the third T20I, keeping the series alive with two matches remaining. While India’s captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bowl first, it was a stellar bowling performance from England’s Adil Rashid and a memorable five-wicket haul (24 runs) by India’s Varun Chakaravarthy that ultimately proved decisive.

India’s leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, economical in the previous two matches, had a more expensive outing in Rajkot, conceding 46 runs in four overs despite taking the wicket of Harry Brook. His teammate Chakaravarthy defended Bishnoi, pointing to his own expensive spell in the second T20I as evidence that even top bowlers can have off days.

England, restricted to 171/9 thanks largely to Chakaravarthy’s efforts, successfully defended their total. India’s batting faltered, managing only 145/9 as the pitch slowed. The series now moves to Pune for the fourth T20I on Friday.
