Fri Jan 31 11:46:47 UTC 2025: ## Modi Accuses AAP of Corruption and Mismanagement in Delhi Rally
**New Delhi, January 27** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during a Delhi election rally on Friday, accusing the ruling party of corruption, mismanagement, and prioritizing self-promotion over the needs of Delhi’s citizens. With Delhi elections slated for February 5th, Modi painted a stark picture of an AAP administration riddled with “false promises, lies, and loot.”
Modi specifically criticized AAP’s spending habits, alleging that funds intended for infrastructure development were instead diverted to advertisements and the party’s expansion efforts in other states. “AAP-da (AAP disaster) has looted Delhi’s money and is using it to expand its politics elsewhere,” he declared, claiming the party was neglecting the interests of the poor and middle class.
The Prime Minister highlighted the recently inaugurated Yashobhoomi convention centre as an example of the BJP’s commitment to modernizing Delhi. He contrasted this with what he described as AAP’s focus on political infighting rather than governance, citing ongoing disputes with neighboring states and the central government.
Modi pledged a crackdown on corruption should the BJP win the election, promising to table a damning Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report detailing alleged AAP scams in the first Vidhan Sabha session. He assured voters that a BJP government would prioritize development and cooperation, offering a stark alternative to what he characterized as AAP’s confrontational approach. “Delhi needs a government that ensures solutions, not conflict,” Modi emphasized.
