**TIRUVANNAMALAI, January 31, 2025** – Four individuals, including two women, have been arrested by Kilpennathur police for the murder of a farmer in Sirunathur village. The suspects, identified as real estate agent K. Suresh (44), his wife S. Lalitha (39), their maid S. Abirami (23), and Suresh’s friend B. Vignesh (24), allegedly killed 32-year-old S. Karthikeyan following a dispute over unpaid commission from a land sale. Karthikeyan, who also worked in real estate alongside Suresh, had publicly accused Suresh of withholding his commission, leading to the fatal attack. Karthikeyan’s body was sent to the Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem. The investigation is ongoing.
