**Madurai, January 31, 2025** – A three-day property exhibition, ‘fair pro,’ organized by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) Madurai, opened Friday at the Tamukkum Convention Centre. Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes and Registration Minister P. Moorthy inaugurated the event, announcing the imminent release (within two weeks) of Madurai’s final master plan and pledging support for the city’s infrastructural development.
The expo features around 30 participants from Madurai, Coimbatore, and Chennai, showcasing villas, apartments, and plots. Attendees can expect attractive discounts. A seminar on Madurai’s real estate landscape was also held on the inaugural day.
CREDAI Tamil Nadu president R. Illankovan urged the Minister to extend the planned Metro rail project to Melur, citing the burgeoning four-lane NHAI highway between Madurai and Chennai as a catalyst for real estate growth. Minister Moorthy suggested the government might consider incentives for first-time homebuyers, with the Registration department facilitating verification using Aadhaar or PAN cards.
The expo, which concludes on February 2nd, is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
