**REDMOND, WA –** Microsoft has announced that its “Think Deeper” feature, previously exclusive to Copilot Pro subscribers, is now available to all Copilot users free of charge. The feature, powered by OpenAI’s advanced O1 reasoning model, allows for significantly improved responses to complex prompts, particularly excelling in STEM fields like coding, data analysis, and advanced mathematics.

The O1 model, known for its deliberate processing style (taking approximately 30 seconds per query), prioritizes accuracy over speed. This contrasts with OpenAI’s approach, which typically keeps similar models behind paywalls for services like ChatGPT Pro. Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman touted the feature’s accessibility on X (formerly Twitter), calling it “truly magical.”

While currently offline, Suleyman confirmed that internet access for Think Deeper is under development. The feature is readily accessible within the Copilot interface via a dedicated “Think Deeper” button next to the text input box, with helpful sample prompts provided for new users.
